Getting Around

Port Canaveral is about a 55-minute drive east of Orlando. From Orlando, take State Road 528 east to the port. For north cruise terminals 5, 8 and 9/10, take the exit for S.R. 401 and Port Canaveral Side A and follow signs. For South Cruise Terminals 2, 3, 4 and The Cove entertainment area, continue on S.R. 528 to the first traffic light and take a left. Go right at the stop sign onto George King Boulevard, then follow the signs to the cruise terminals or to The Cove.

Numerous car rental agencies agencies are permitted to do business at the seaport and provide complimentary shuttle service to their locations off port. All major agencies are located a short distance from the cruise terminals (between three to seven miles). We suggest you contact the agencies directly to make your arrangements.

Greyhound Bus Lines maintain three terminals in Brevard County, the closest to Port Canaveral being Titusville or Cocoa.

Space Coast Area Transit (SCAT) operates public transportation to the Port via its Route #9 Beach Trolley. The route runs from Cocoa Beach to Jetty Park and the Cove area.

Taxi, shuttle and other transportation services are also available.
